Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden Seeks Closer Cooperation with Taiwan Tech
Taiwan Tech has been enjoying close relations with numerous German universities of Applied Sciences and Universities of Technology. On 22 October 2018, senior representatives of Dresden University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW), visited Taiwan and Taiwan Tech for the first time.
The university's Rector Prof. Dr. Roland Stenzel and Prof. Dr. Ralph Sonntag, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Study, paid a formal visit to Taiwan Tech as the first step in establishing fruitful collaboration between the two institutions.

Dresden HTW, founded in 1992, is one of the six members of HAWtech, an Alliance of Germany's leading universities of applied sciences in the field of engineering sciences. With its focus on engineering, economics, design, and “green” disciplines, and its ambitious plans for internationalization, Dresden HTW and Taiwan Tech share similar profiles offering many opportunities for future cooperation.
The German guests also visited the Taiwan Tech Industry 4.0 Implementation Centre and were impressed by the facilities and their integration into teaching programs.
