Congratulations to winners of WorldSkills Competition 2011 from NTUST who have won one Silver, two Bronze and five other medals. 

    At the Closing Ceremony of the 41st WorldSkills Competition, held in London on the evening of October 9, all the WorldSkills London 2011 winners were announced and all medals presented. Taiwan's representatives brought home one Gold, four Silver, three Bronze, and fifteen other medals. Among them, eight medalists are from NTUST's Inter-disciplinary Bachelor's Program and Department of Electronic Engineering.

    Chang Yin-Ting of the Inter-disciplinary Bachelor's Program, who won Silver from the Electronics skills group, is the most outstanding.  Lee Shao-Min and Wu Chiang won Bronze from the skills groups in Mould Making and in Painting & Decorating respectively. Other winners include Hsu Hsuan-Yang, medalist of Industrial Control, Chen Yi-Chia, medalist of Electrical Installations, Hsieh Po-Yen, medalist of Mechanical Engineering Design CAD, Tu Tze-Ling, medalist of CNC Turning, and Su Bo-Yuan, medalist of Web Design.

    WorldSkills International Competition is held every two years. This is the 41st competition. There are in total 41 official skills groups in competition. 950 participants from 53 nations or territories took part in this year's 46 skills competition groups in London. NTUST's participants have outstanding performance in heated competition for the medals. Next WorldSkills Competition will be held in Leipzig, Germany in 2013.
