Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic, Visits Taiwan Tech with Large Delegation

A high-ranking, ten-member delegation from the Technical University of Liberec (TUL), led by Rector Miroslav Brzezina, visited Taiwan Tech on 14 November 2018. The Technical University of Liberec, one of Taiwan Tech's partner schools in the Czech Republic, expressed keen interest to further develop exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan Tech.
 
The delegation was received by President Ching-Jong Liao and Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Meng- Jiy Wang. After an update of the newest developments of TUL and Taiwan Tech respectively, the guests from TUL offered presentations of their individual departments and possibilities of cooperation. The discussion was joined by several Taiwan Tech faculty members, e.g. Dean of the faculty of Design, Prof Cheng Cheng-Li.  
 
A visit to the Taiwan Tech Industry 4.0 Implementation Centre was arranged afterward where the delegation had the chance to see some of its high-tech facilities, such as the fully automated smart production line.
