Tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Position

Job Description:

The Department of Chemical Engineering at Taiwan Tech invites applications for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position. Applications from qualified scholars in all specialty areas of chemical engineering and technology will be considered. All appointees are expected to contribute to the teaching and research excellence and actively engage in promoting the growth of the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Department/College's international exchange service and English courses
• Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Engage in innovative approaches to teaching and research
• Publish high-quality research in leading journals
• Participate in administrative duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Energy, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, Polymer Technology, or AI-related subjects
• Able to communicate in Chinese and conduct teaching in chemical engineering subjects in English
• At least 1 year of industry experience or 2 years of industrial collaborative research work in academic institutions
• Enthusiasm for teaching and research
