Congratulations! Chang Yin-Ting of Department of Electronic Engineering, mentored by Lin Yuan-Hsiang, won Silver in the Electronics skills group of WorldSkills Competition 2011 in London

    After having won the qualification competition last year to represent our nation to take part in WorldSkills Competition 2011, Chang Yin-Ting, a student of the Inter-disciplinary Bachelor's Program and Department of Electronic Engineering, started a scheduled training of nine months from the New Year Day this year under the guidance of Assistant Professor Lin Yuan-Hsiang of Electronic Engineering Department.

    In this year's WorldSkills International in London, outstanding participants from 19 countries competed for best results in the skills group of Electronics. Chang stood tall as the Silver medalist after fierce competition. Council of Labor Affairs is calling for a celebration ceremony for the presentation of medals at Taipei Hero Restaurant on October 16. In total, Taiwan's representatives won one Gold, four Silver, three Bronze, and fifteen other medals. In the nearest future, President Ma is scheduled to meet Taiwan's team delegated to WorldSkills Competition in London.
