1111 Job Bank released the “2025 Most Popular Universities Among Companies” Survey on January 16, with Taiwan Tech ranking First among public universities of technology for five consecutive years and third overall, following National Cheng Kung University and National Taiwan University. Additionally, Taiwan Tech ranked second and fourth in the “Best Workplace Performance” category for the Information Architecture and Design fields, showcasing students’ professional strength and successful industry-academia collaboration.
Taiwan Tech President Jia-Yush Yen highlighted that Taiwan Tech graduates possess outstanding professional abilities and are known for their stability and high loyalty, influenced by the university’s motto “Sincerity”. Many alumni have risen to senior positions in companies. However, due to the students’ modest nature, the university’s reputation is somewhat underrecognized. In the future, Taiwan Tech plans to focus on AI imaging, cybersecurity, lithium batteries, and smart electric vehicles, aiming to enhance its reputation through international awards and global rankings, bringing more attention to the capabilities of Taiwan Tech students.
President Yen also encouraged students to develop stronger entrepreneurial spirits, noting that the university offers scholarships to support entrepreneurship and fosters an international environment through numerous exchange students and international peers, enhancing students’ ability to communicate in English and broaden their global perspectives.
Regarding curriculum design and industry collaboration, Taiwan Tech leverages its small, young faculty teams to quickly respond to industry needs, constantly updating courses to bridge the gap between academia and the workforce. President Yen pointed out that Taiwan Tech collaborates with leading tech companies like NVIDIA, offering students internship opportunities and co-developing technologies. Faculty members utilize the latest technologies for applied research, continuously strengthening the integration of academics and industry practice.
Taiwan Tech has been ranked first among “Public Universities of Technology” for five consecutive years, ranking 3rd overall, after National Cheng Kung University and National Taiwan University.
President Jia-Yush Yen emphasized that Taiwan Tech students are highly skilled and loyal, often staying with companies for long periods, which makes them highly favored by employers.
