Taiwan Tech President Jia-Yush Yen Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Óbuda University [20 Nov 2025]

Taiwan Tech is pleased to announce that President Prof. Jia-Yush YEN was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, on 20 November 2025. President Yen attended the ceremony in person and received the honorary doctorate from Prof. Dr. Levente KOVÁCS, Rector of Óbuda University.
Óbuda University has been awarding the Doctor Honoris Causa distinction since 2010 to recognize outstanding, internationally acknowledged scientific achievements and long-term contributions to the university. President Yen was selected for this honor in recognition of his scientific and educational work in automation and mechatronic systems, as well as his long-standing research collaboration with Óbuda University, particularly in the field of nano-manipulation and control.
His research focuses on mechatronic systems, nano manipulation and control, and computer peripherals, fields in which he has made notable international contributions.
