A Survey Group from Republic of Panama's Ministry of Education visited NTUST
Elias Gonzales, Director General of Panama's Technological and Vocational Education, accompanied by Esteban Herrera, Senior Executive Officer of Panama's Ministry of Education, came to visit NTUST on November 3.
With a mission to fully understand the teaching methodology, study programs of theoretical and practical courses, teaching infrastructure and facilities of the best technological and vocational school in Taiwan so that they can use the know-how in the founding of Panama's new Pacora Technological & Vocational School, the group paid us a visit. They had a tour to Taiwan Architecture & Building Center as well as Communication and Electromagnetic Technology R&D Center, entertained by Prof. Cheng Cheng-Li, CEO of Architecture & Building Center, and Prof. Yang Chang-Fa, Director of Communication and Electromagnetic Technology Center.
After the tour, Vice President Perng Yeng-Horng hosted a reception meeting to extend our welcome. In the meeting, Director General Elias Gonzales said the they were impressed by our teaching facilities. He was interested in knowing our programs of academic exchange with countries of Central and Southern America. He was anxious to invite NTUST to launch exchange programs with Republic of Panama.
