英國「泰晤士報高等教育專刊」今公布2016年創校未滿50年的全球前150名大學調查結果排名，台灣有5所學校上榜，台灣科技大學位居43名，台灣第一。
「泰晤士報高等教育專刊」今年首度將年輕大學排名從100名增加至150名，台灣共有5所大學進榜，台科大表現最佳，排名第43名，台灣第一；其次為陽明大學排名第96名，長庚大學、國立中山大學和元智大學則是排名在101到150名。
「泰晤士報高等教育特刊」第5年發布這項創校50年內的新興大學排行榜，以教學、國際化、產學合作、研究、引用率等指標來評選年輕大學。
今年全球新興大學排名仍由瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院奪冠，第2至5名分別是新加坡南洋理工大學、香港科技大學、南韓浦項科技大學及南韓高等科學技術研究院。

（中央社記者黃貞貞倫敦6日專電）英國「泰晤士報高等教育專刊」今天公布全球建校不到50年的前150名大學排行榜，由瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院拔得頭籌，台灣共有5所大學上榜，是亞洲國家最多。
這是泰晤士報高等教育專刊（Times Higher Education）連續第5年公布創校不到50年的全球最佳大學排行，共來自39個國家，東亞國家共有20所上榜，英國以25所排名第1，澳洲19所排名第2。
主編巴堤（Phil Baty）指出，150所建校不到50年的大學，都是年輕富有活力的高等學府，排名前10名的學校中有半數建校30年，或是來自創造世界級大學的國家地區，如香港、南韓和新加坡。
他說，過去在高等教育扮演龍頭的美國與英國，未來必須更加努力才能維持競爭力。
巴堤表示，台灣是今年全球年輕大學調查亞洲最具代表性的國家，有5所上榜，不過雖然上榜的大學數量比其它亞洲國家高，但是排名不高，國立台灣科技大學排名第43，是此項榜單中台灣排名最高的大學，但新加坡、香港和南韓都有大學擠進前10名，台灣必須再加強高等教育的投資。
其它上榜的台灣大學還有：國立陽明大學，排名第96，長庚、國立中山大學及元智大學都排名在第101到150名。

根據排行榜，2016年排名前10名的年輕大學依序為：瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院（Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne）、新加坡南洋理工大學、香港科技大學、荷蘭馬斯垂克大學（Maastricht University）、浦項科技大學（Pohang University ofScience and Technology）、 韓國高等科學技術研究院 （Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology）、康斯坦莰大學（University of Konstanz）、德國卡爾斯魯厄大學（Karlsruhe Institute of Technology）、巴黎第六大學（Pierre and Marie Curie University）、比薩聖安娜大學（Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna）。1050407

〔記者吳柏軒／台北報導〕英國《泰晤士高等教育》（Times Higher Education）期刊今天公布今年「全球年輕大學排名」，鎖定50歲以下的大學進行排名，冠軍由瑞士的洛桑聯邦理工學院奪下，而台灣最佳名次則是台灣科技大學的第43名，而全台共有5校列入前150名。

泰晤士期刊調查，全球年輕大學排名已進行至第5年，條件須創校50年以下，依各校的創新收入、教學環境、學術引用、研究數量、國際視野等共13項指標進行評比。
泰晤士今年調查，第1名為瑞士的洛桑聯邦理工學院，第2名為新加坡南洋理工大學、第3名是香港的香港科技大學；台灣部分，最好成績由台灣科技大學拿下，列入第43名，以及陽明大學列第96名，其他的入榜的學校有長庚大學、中山大學、元智大學等也獲入列到150名之內。
泰晤士編輯認為，50歲以下的年輕大學排名中，前10名的大學有一半是在30歲以下，且亞洲國家如香港、韓國、台灣及新加玻的崛起，也讓英美不得不也跟著提高競爭，但編輯發現，台灣今年排名僅5校列入前150大，且最佳僅43名，相較新加坡、香港和韓國都有學校排名前10名，認為面對其他國家競爭加速，台灣卻只是留在原地。

英國《泰晤士報高等教育》公佈全球年輕大學排名，瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院蟬聯榜首，國立臺灣科技大學為台灣最佳大學，排43位。全球年輕大學排名榜只研究校齡50年以下的大學，根據13項指標，包括學院的研究引用、教學表現、師生比例及國際形象等表現評分，選出前150間年輕大學。
今年有39個國家或地區上榜，榮登首位的是1969年創校的瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院（EPFL），連續第二年稱冠。前6名則有4間來自亞洲，包括新加坡南洋理工大學，由去年第5躍升至第2位，香港科技大學則去年第4位升至第3位；南韓的浦項科技大學及韓國科學技術院排名則下跌，分別排行第5及第6位。
以整個排名榜院校數字計算，英國有最多院校晉身排名，共25間，但排名最佳的為第16位的鄧迪大學（University of Dundee），其次為有19間上榜的澳洲，台灣則共有5間年輕大學入選，包括43名的台灣科技大學、排名第96的國立陽明大學、以及排名在101到150名間的長庚大學、國立中山大學和元智大學。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）

英國《泰晤士高等教育特刊》（Times Higher Education）公布了全球150所「年輕大學排行」，瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院連續兩年拿下冠軍，英國以25間大學入榜成為數量最多的國家，而台灣此次共有5所大學上榜，最高的是國立臺灣科技大學，排名第43位。
由《泰晤士高等教育特刊》所公布的「全球年輕大學排行」，是以校齡50年以下的大學，也就是1965年之後創辦的大學來做評估的，評比的標準包括研究、論文被引用次數、教學表現、國際化和工業收入等五大範圍的13個指標。
在這份榜單中，由1969年創校的瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院拿下第一、1991年創校的新加坡南洋理工大學拿下第二，第三名則是由同樣是1991年創校的香港科技大學奪得。
台灣在此次排行中，總共有5所大學上榜，數量在亞洲國家是最多的，可惜排名不算高，其中國立臺灣科技大學以第43名排行最高，再來是第96名的國立陽明大學、101到150名的長庚大學、國立中山大學及元智大學。

英國《泰晤士報高等教育專刊》（Times Higher Education）今（6）日公布「全球建校不到50年的前150名大學排行榜」，第一名為瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院，而台灣更有5所大學上榜，分別為國立台灣科技大學、國立陽明大學、私立長庚大學、國立中山大學及私立元智大學，是台灣也是亞洲最多學校上榜的國家。
《泰晤士報高等教育專刊》主編Phil Baty指出，台灣是今年全球年輕大學調查亞洲最具代表性的國家，但相較之下，5所學校排名不高。國立台灣科技大學排名第43，長庚大學第96名，其它3所大學排名接落在101-150之間。而新加坡、香港和南韓都有大學擠進前10名。
《泰晤士報高等教育專刊》已經連續5年公布創校不到50年的優秀大學排行榜，總共有39國，英國有25所大學排名第一，澳洲19所排名第二，而東亞國家總共有20所大學榜上有名。
Phil Baty進一步提到，過去高等教育的龍頭學校都是來自美國與英國，但這次選出的150所建校不到50年的大學，很多來自創造世界級大學的國家地區，例如新加坡、南韓和香港，而排名前10名的學校有半數才建校30年左右，因此未來都必須更加努力才能維持競爭力。

London, April 7 (CNA) Five institutions in Taiwan have been included this year in the Times Higher Education rankings of the world's top 150 universities under 50 years old.
The five schools are National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (43rd), National Yang-Ming University (96th) and Chang Gung University, National Sun Yat-sen University and Yuan Ze University, which were listed in the 101-150 band.
Their listing gives Taiwan the distinction of having the most world-class young institutions in the top 150 list among all Asian countries.
Despite its comparatively high number of listings, however, Taiwan did not have many schools high up on the list, said Phil Baty, editor of the Times Higher Education Rankings.
In comparison, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea all had listings in the top 10, Baty said, adding that Taiwan needs to invest more in higher education.
Although 50 years is young in university years, "half of the universities in the top 10 are 30 years or under - from nations investing heavily in creating world-class institutions, for example, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore," he said.
Among the 39 countries and regions featured on the list, the United Kingdom had the most world-class young institutions in the top 150 with 25, followed by Australia with 19.
"As the pendulum swings, the traditionally dominant U.S. and UK will have to raise their games to continue to compete in future years,” Baty said.
Universities are ranked according to five different measures, including research, teaching, knowledge transfer and international activity.
Switzerland's Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, founded in 1969, took the top spot for the second year running, with East Asian institutions filling out the top five.
In second place was Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU), founded 25 years ago, making it to the top of the rankings in Asia for the first time.
The others in the top five were Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Netherlands' Maastricht University and South Korea's Pohang University of Science and Technology.
Rounding out the top 10 were Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST); University of Konstanz and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, both in Germany; France's Pierre and Marie Curie University; and Italy's Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.

Five Taiwanese universities have made it into this year’s Times Higher Education’s list of the world’s top 150 universities under 50 years old.
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ranked 43rd and National Yang-Ming University ranked 96th, while Chang Gung University, National Sun Yat-sen University and Yuan Ze University were given rankings below 101.
According to the list, Taiwan has the highest number of young world-class institutions among all Asian nations.
